Thursday, February 6th

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).

In Matthew 17:20, Jesus said, “...nothing shall be impossible unto you”; in other words, you can do anything. The Apostle Paul lends credence to this in our opening verse. Also, in 2 Corinthians 3:5, he takes it a step further, saying, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” This isn’t talking about your human sufficiency or ability, but of God’s ability in you; you’re to look beyond yourself.

When you were born again, you received the very life and nature of God, meaning you have, and are to function with divine abilities. This is what gave Paul the boldness to say, “I can do all things through Christ!” It’s the same with every one of us. But many haven’t been able to look beyond themselves and their seeming inadequacies; hence, they concede to failure and to defeat. But not so with you; you’re born of God and therefore up to any task.

Read 2 Corinthians 3:5 in the Amplified translation; it puts it in a better light: “Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.” You’re to look beyond what your physical ability can do, now that Christ is in you. Your sufficiency is a God-sufficiency. Hallelujah!

This was David’s mentality when he confronted Goliath. He eye-balled the giant and said, “I’ll cut your head off your shoulders today and feed your carcass to the birds of the air” (1 Samuel 17:46). How could David, a mere stripling, make such a boast? He had learnt to look beyond himself, unto the Lord. He said to Goliath, “I come against you in the Name of the Lord of host, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied” (1 Samuel 17:45). David was saying, “I may be the one standing before you, but God is actually the One standing against you, because I’m standing in His Name, not in my name. I’m functioning in His might, not mine!” Hallelujah!

Have the same consciousness, because even better than what David had, the greater One lives in you today. He speaks through you, heals the sick through you and blesses through you. You have all His power and limitless resources domiciled in your spirit. Glory to His Name forever!

PRAYER
Gracious Father, I thank you for your power and ability at work in me through the Holy Spirit, causing me to do, and walk, in the supernatural. My boast and my confidence are in your eternal Word and power. I function in your might, with the consciousness that the greater One who lives inside me, makes all things possible unto me. Amen.

PERPETUALLY HIGH ON THE HOLY GHOST

*And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled {and} stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit (Ephesians 5:18 AMPC).*

Our opening verse talks about being perpetually high on the Holy Ghost, functioning under His sway and influence, twenty-four hours every day.
That’s the Spirit’s desire for each and every one of us, and He shows us how to make it happen in the ensuing verses 19-21.

Verse 19 says, “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” This is one of the ways to maintain a spiritual high. You sing spiritual poems to God in worship; you offer songs of thanksgiving and praise to Him; very often, these are prophetic songs that come to you from the realm of the spirit; and sometimes, they may come to you in spiritual tongues.

It also says to “Make melody in your heart to the Lord.” These are tunes of praise, worship, edification, gratitude, and joy, from your heart to the Lord, rendered in your understanding or in other tongues. Make it a conscious thing to get yourself filled with
the Spirit every day. Your spirit will continually be energized for victory and success. You don’t have to wait till you get to church to be filled with the Spirit; you can be filled with the Spirit ANYTIME, ANYWHERE; it’s up to you.

Start from the known, to the unknown. In other words, start with the already written Psalms and read them out loud, such as Psalm 23, Psalm 27, etc. By the time you’re through reading, you’re super charged and inspired, and you can make your own psalms as God’s Spirit gives you utterance. Make this a constant in your life. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the privilege of fellowship with you in prayer by the Holy Spirit. Your Spirit fills me through and through, and I’m built up as a spiritual edifice, over and above the corrupting influences of this world. Blessed be God!

You know Jesus gave us the instruction to preach the Gospel to the whole world. This means he isn't referring to just human beings.
1 John 3:1-2
KJV:Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1 John 4:4
4 KJV:Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
You are not alone. See, there's someone in you. Now you can go with the consciousness that there's someone in you. Never be afraid of the antichrist. You have overcome them. Look at verse 17 of the same book and chapter
KJV:Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
As Jesus is, so are we. As Jesus is righteous, so are we. Glory to God.
WORD FOR THE MONTH.
This is the month of October and I have something special for you. Just for you.
The Bible says that the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord, but not many are experiencing it. Why? Why are some getting the short end of the stick. Some even think that the message of prosperity is some heresy, some think it's too much to expect all these good things from God. What does God want us to do? What's His plan? If Jesus was actually God's Son, that will make Him God. Right? If God came to this world just for us, why should we remain the same? It just doesn't add up. Let me read something to you. Matthew 6:33
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Let's read the earlier verses to understand these things that will be added to us.
25 KJV:Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 KJV:Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 KJV:Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 KJV:And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 KJV:And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 KJV:Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 KJV:Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 KJV:(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Did you see that? You will normally think that after seeking the Kingdom, God will add these things to you, but no, that's not what it says, it actually means that all these things are annexed to you, meaning, all these things are connected to seeking the Kingdom of God.
When it comes to the things of God, be like a child, accept God's word like a child. The supernatural life is walking on the water. If God said it, then that's it.
This is the month of October, it is the MONTH OF BLESSINGS! Blessings. You know when we use Words like that, some people don't understand it.
Blessing is that which confers, invokes authorizes or shares prosperity, power, ability and welfare.
Welfare is the contained estate of being happy, healthy and successful.
Let's read this Gen 1:22. For better understanding, let's start from verse 20.
20 KJV:And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 KJV:And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 KJV:And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
How did God bless these fishes, He blessed them saying... God blesses with his words. Look at verse 28..also Gen 2:3. God blessed the seventh day. Wow, God blessed even the day! Isn't that amazing. Some keep saying that they are having a bad day, that's cursing your day. Bless your day. Look at Rom 12:14 KJV:Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
1 Peter 3:9 ISV
Do not pay others back evil for evil or insult for insult. Instead, keep blessing them, because you were called to inherit a blessing.
This month, we are going to be declaring these blessing. My day is blessed. I am blessed. My body is blessed. My finances are blessed. Glory to God. I'm blessed in all things. Everywhere I go I am blessed. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places. Hallelujah!
Thank Him now. It's your month of blessing. All kinds of blessing are coming your way this month. It's blessings everywhere. Hallelujah!
