Inspired by the words of Jesus in Luke 9:23, where we are called to deny ourselves and take up the cross daily and follow Christ, the Metro Christian Convention 2026 offers keynote messages and workshops designed to encourage the body of believers in following this call. This year Brother David Elliott returns to share his workshop entitled, "Will You Be Ready If Jesus Doesn't Come Soon?" In it, he poses the question of whether or not we have counted the cost and are prepared to carry the cross for the long haul, through the lens of parables and other passages from scripture.

Inspired by Luke 9:23, where Jesus calls us to take up our cross and follow Him, the Metro Christian Convention offers speakers and workshops that are designed to equip the believer wherever they are to make new disciples and encourage one another in the faith. This year a new Women's Panel will be offered with four emerging disciple makers and mentors sharing their spiritual experience in teaching, training and fellowship for Christ's work.

Join the Metro Christian Convention on Saturday, May 2, 2026 as we are called to go "All in for Jesus." Inspired by Luke 9:23, the MCC 2026 is designed with keynote speakers and workshop discussions designed to equip the body of believers to take up their cross and follow Jesus. A new workshop leader at the MCC, Scott Bates offers a workshop that highlights generous living for Jesus, not just from a financial perspective, but in all the ways we can be prepared to render service to those the Lord puts before us. Scott is honored to serve as the Missions Minister for Madison Park Christian Church, where he and his wife Amy enjoy creating a hospitable place for community, and to encourage serving for the Lord.

Join the Metro Christian Convention on Saturday May 2, 2026. Inspired by Luke 9:23, we are called to take up our cross and follow Jesus. In addition to our keynote speaker brother Chuck Sackett, our workshop leaders will lead sessions that equip our brothers and sisters to go "All In for Jesus." Brother Charlie Bantoc will be leading a workshop that encourages our brothers and sisters to grow in discipleship, from being consumers in the church, to producers actively engaged in disciple-making. Having served as the lead pastor of Hillside Church of Christ in Jamaica, NY for almost thirty years, and most recently serving as the president for the Filipino American Christian Convention, he continues to point our brothers and sisters towards active engagement in the church both in the US as well as in the Philippines.
