We believe the Holy Scriptures are the accurate and true Word of God.

2. ONE GOD
We believe God exists in three persons; The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each distinct, yet all the one and only God

3. JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ is the virgin-born Son of God who lived in

the flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again and ascended to the Father according to the Scriptures

4. SALVATION THROUGH FAITH
We believe the death of Jesus Christ was the final and complete sacrifice for the sins of humanity. Salvation is obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

5. THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within all who are saved

6.THE CHURCH
We believe that those who have placed their faith in Christ are knit together in one body – The Church

7. CHRIST’S RETURN
We believe Christ will return for His church and we will live in eternity with Him.

Due to the closure of surrounding school districts and out of concern for the safety of our families, we will not hold services for all children and youth tomorrow evening, Wednesday, January 28. Adult midweek Bible study will meet as usual, at 6:30 p.m.

In addition, family night supper will not be served.

Good evening East Mountain Family. Due to extreme cold and a serious ice storm threat, we will not have any services at East Mountain Baptist Church this Sunday, January 25. Please stay home if at all possible, and call for help should you need it.

We are saddened to share that EMBC member Dorothy Pace passed away last week after a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family.
A celebration of life honoring Dorothy will be held on Tuesday, December 16, at 1 PM at East Mountain Baptist Church.
