Just received an e-mail letting us know that one of our Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes has been delivered to Suriname, a country in South America. Please continue to keep all the children and families that will be blessed by these shoe boxes in your prayers!

Twenty-six percent of Suriname’s 491,989 people are 14-years-old or younger. In the 2011-2012 season, 7,200 shoe box gifts will be delivered to children in Suriname, which first received the gifts in 1997. Since then, 49,860 children in Suriname have received a shoe box gift.

Join us this Sunday at 9:00 during the service at the East Meadow United Methodist Church for the Sunday School's Christmas Pageant! The kids have been working hard to prepare for it. Then join us for coffee hour and a visit from Santa :)

Dropped of 16 shoe boxes filled with toys, school supplies and hygiene items from the East Meadow United Methodist Church for Operation Christmas Child! This was an amazing outreach project especially for the children involved in packing the boxes. Thank you to all that supported this project through your prayers and donations.
