This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor the brave military personnel who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We send our deepest respect and prayers to the families of those fallen, and to all who are grieving.
May God surround you with His enduring peace, comfort your heavy hearts, and bring quiet healing to your sorrow. Your loved ones' selfless sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Help us to be the peace we hope to see in the world. Let our hearts and minds join with like-minded souls around the world to live out Jesus' mandate for nonviolent direct action with individuals, neighborhoods and nations.

Lakeview United Church of Christ held a beautiful service on installation for Rev. Bill Dodge this past weekend.

In the United Church of Christ, the installation of a pastor is a public covenantal service that formalizes shared ministry among the minister, local congregation, and the wider denomination.

Not only does this act as a formal authorization, recognizing the pastor’s call to lead within a specific setting, but it also provides a liturgical space to establish mutual commitments and celebrates the ongoing mission of the church. We are stronger together, and no one minister or congregation acts in isolation.
