Our last outdoor worship service of the summer is Sunday at 10AM and will include Blessing of the Backpacks! If the weather doesn't cooperate we will move both the service and the cookout indoors.

The Holy Heitmans and a UKirk team participated in the annual Hope in One ⛳️ outing Wednesday to support Advent House Ministries and the various ways they serve neighbors in need. It was a good day on the course all the way around!

We ordained and installed new classes of Elders and Deacons yesterday in worship. We look forward to the energy, intelligence, imagination and love that each will bring to these leadership roles.

Our Massanetta group arrived home safely last night! The ride home included some in depth discussions about our experiences there and some hopes and possibilities for church back home! Ask them about their experiences next time you see them. Thank you for your prayers and support!

We will be gathering for closing worship at ‘Netta at the same time as worship back home this morning. As the Spirit would have it, one of the many songs we’ve been singing here is Shall We Gather at the River, which will be sung at Eastminster today as well. Thank you for your prayers and support. We’ve had a good experience here in worship, scripture, keynote, music, workshops, prayer, recreation, and making new friends in our connectional church. Keep us in your prayers for safe travel home today. Thank you for your support of all of our youth here and at home.

We’ve had sunshine and rain, but here is a glimpse of a theme gathering! We are once again enjoying our time, exploring all God has in store for us and our theme of “Peace-ing Together Peace by Piece” using Romans 14:19 as a starting point and making wider church connections with friends from Oklahoma to New York, Indiana to North Carolina and plenty of places in between. Thank you for your continued prayers!
