What do you do when staying faithful has cost you more than you expected?

Faithfulness can come with sacrifice, disappointment, and seasons when it seems easier to give up. But what you have suffered cannot compromise what God has promised.

In “Guarantees That Ground Me,” Pastor Gavin R. Hamms reminds us to maintain our confidence, even when the journey has been costly. God’s promises remain secure, and His Word gives us reason to keep going.

Watch this clip, then take time to hear the full message. Share it with someone who needs encouragement to hold on.

What if the very thing you’ve written off is something God still has a future for?

Sometimes circumstances can make a situation, a season, or even a part of our lives feel beyond recovery. But what people consider disposable does not determine what God considers purposeful.

In this clip from “Purchased on a Promise,” we’re reminded that there are things people may be ready to give up on, yet God still has intentions for them. So even when the place feels hopeless, don’t surrender your hope.

Have you ever wondered, “If Christ has already given me the victory, why am I still fighting?”

That question is at the heart of today’s message, “The Advantage of Already,” from Revelation 12:11 NASB.

The conflict may still be continuing. The pressure may still feel real. The enemy may still be making noise. But what you are facing today cannot cancel what Christ has already secured.

This clip from today’s service is a reminder that everything you see will not succeed. Sometimes faith means learning to live from a victory that has already been won, even while the battle is still visible.

If you need that reminder today, watch the clip, then save this message and come back to the full sermon when you have time.

What do you do when life comes back with another problem after God already brought you through the last one?

Sometimes the hardest part of faith is not believing God can do it. It is trusting Him again when trouble returns.

In “Nurtured for What’s Next,” we are reminded through the Shunammite woman that another difficult season does not mean God has forgotten you. The God who kept you before has not changed. His providence did not expire with your last miracle.

Remain reassured when trouble recurs because God’s providence is able to last across all seasons.

If you are facing another season that has you wondering, “God, again?” this message is for you.

What if God answers your prayer differently than you expected?

We often come to Jesus knowing exactly what we want Him to do. But as this clip from “Miracles Beyond the Moment” reminds us, faith is not only trusting God with our request, it is trusting Him to address what He knows we truly need.

Sometimes we are asking for one thing, while God is working on something deeper.

“It’s commendable to bring Jesus what we desire, but it’s crucial to trust Him to do what He knows that we need.”

What has God authorized you to build that opposition has tempted you to abandon?

This clip from “Constructed Under Constraints” reminds us that God can preserve what He has declared and provide the resources needed to complete it. Resistance may interrupt the process, but it cannot permanently overturn God’s purpose.

Do not give up simply because the work has become difficult. Keep building.

What if your breakthrough isn’t found in retreating, but in standing?

Some battles aren’t won because of what we do. They’re won because we refuse to give up the ground God has entrusted to us.

Watch this short clip from “Standing is the Standard” and be reminded that God’s power is exhibited through us when we stand against whatever seeks to seize us.

QOTD: What has been trying to control your life?

Fear. Shame. Addiction. Depression. Regret. Whatever has been preying on you, it is no match for the authority of Jesus Christ.

In "The Insert That Caused the Inverse," Pastor Gavin R. Hamms reminds us that the very presence of Christ changes everything. What once held us captive must submit to the One who came to reclaim and restore us.

Watch this powerful sermon clip, then be encouraged to watch the full message and discover how Christ can reverse what has been working against you.

You’re invited to worship + Previous Sermon Reflection

Before we gather again tomorrow, let’s remember what God has already spoken.

Last Sunday, we were reminded through Obadiah 1:17 that we must recall our covenant possessions even when life places us in problematic positions.

God’s covenant is not erased by our circumstances. Our identity in Him remains secure, and what He has promised is still ours to walk in through faith.

As we prepare our hearts for tomorrow’s worship, take a moment to reflect on this truth:

“Life may repaint your circumstances, but it cannot rewrite God’s covenant.”

May this reminder strengthen your faith tonight and prepare your heart to receive the Word God has for us tomorrow.

Join us tomorrow at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church as we continue growing together in God’s Word. Bring a family member, friend, or neighbor—we’d love to worship with you.
