Celebrate Recovery is a place where people come to do life together and encourage each others faith.

John 10:10-11 “My purpose is to give life in all its fullness. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
Today I was thinking about the difference between cowboys and shepherds. The cowboy pushes the heard from behind, but the shepherd leads the sheep from in front. I am so grateful that Jesus leads us where to go instead of pushing us from behind. A rich and complete life is marked by forgiveness, security, spiritual fruit, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Let us reflect on how we can live out the abundant life in our daily walk by loving others, service, and obedience to Christ.
This week we are having sandwiches for dinner. Come at 6:00pm for food and fellowship followed by our Large Group worship, teaching, and chip celebration. Open share groups follow at 8:00pm.

This week is our 11th year anniversary of Celebrate Recovery at Community Christian Church in Hemet! Come for dinner starting at 6:00pm. We are having a special meal followed by some great worship and special programs including baptisms.
We are so grateful for everything that God is doing in our fellowship and we invite you to come and join us.

Baptism is a statement of faith and identification;
To God, baptism shows your faith and immersion into the body of Christ.
To the Church, baptism declares, “I am with you. I am no longer a sinner but a saint. I’m no longer of the world. Though I am in the world, the world no longer dictates my standards, values, and priorities.”
To the world, baptism proclaims, “I’ve come out from among you. I am now a child of God.”
Next week on August 28th we are celebrating our 11th anniversary of CR at Community Christian Church. Part of that celebration is witnessing new life in Christ through baptism. Are you ready to go “all-in” with Jesus as your higher power? Will you rededicate your life to Christ?

This week we are having spaghetti and meatballs for dinner starting at 6:00pm. Worship and a testimony follows in our large group meeting at 7:00pm.

Looking forward to the last Friday of this month! Pastor John will be with us, and we are doing baptisms to celebrate new life in Christ. If you have been considering going "all-in" with your higher power, Jesus Christ, and want to make a public declaration through baptism, now is the time.

He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His beloved Son. Colossians 1:13
The enemy first uses temptation to get us to sin and then he uses condemnation to trap us in darkness. But, Jesus said “It is finished” on the cross and thereby he rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of light.
This week we will be learning about how forgiveness is such a big part of our walk with Christ. We are having hamburgers and hot dogs starting at 6:00pm followed by worship, teaching, and then open share groups.

One of our leaders, Nick Gutierrez’s wife Mary, passed away and they’re having a celebration of life on Saturday, August 22 at the church.

She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” Matthew 9:21

For 12 years, this woman endured suffering and rejection because of her condition. Yet her words reveal a deep faith in Jesus’ power: she believed that simply touching His cloak would be enough to heal her.
In the same way, our faith in Jesus’ power can bring transformation and healing to our lives and influence the lives of others.

Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction? Amos 3:3

Walking together requires harmony and unity, which is foundational in relationships, whether between individuals or between God and His people. The idea of walking together is also seen in the relationship between God and Enoch, who "walked with God" (Genesis 5:24), indicating a close, intimate relationship.

Come tomorrow at 6:00pm for baked potatoes, corn bread, and salad. Freddie will be teaching the lesson on making Amends.

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! — Psalm 139:17

Knowing that God understands me completely and cares for me deeply brings comfort and assurance in times of uncertainty. His thoughts toward me are not only infinite; they are precious. As I recognize their value, my perspective is transformed, and I begin to see more clearly just how deeply He loves me.
