As we gather to worship God and serve God’s people at our 159th Annual Session, we also look forward to celebrating the man of God we’ve been blessed to call our President! For the past 8 years President Dr. Melvin Owens has led our State Convention with love, wisdom, grace, and most of all prayer! As his tenure comes to a close, we invite you to help us honor him at the President’s Gala that will be held on Thursday, November 12 at 6:30pm at the Renaissance Hotel. Individual tickets are $100(Deadline to purchase October 24), and a reserved table of 8 is $800(Deadline to purchase October 17). Tickets can be purchased through your wing president. We look forward to seeing everyone in November!

Dear Members of the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention,

This is a friendly reminder about the Women’s Auxiliary Souvenir Journal, which is currently in preparation. We are excited about this meaningful keepsake and the opportunity it provides to celebrate, honor, and preserve the legacy of our convention.

If you have not yet had the opportunity to participate, there is still time! We are extending an invitation to churches, ministries, businesses, families, and individuals who would still like to purchase an ad and be a part of this special project.

The new deadline for all ads and payments is: May 30, 2026.

Half Page – $75
Quarter Page – $50
Business Card – $25

This souvenir journal will be a treasured collection featuring messages from our leadership, highlights from across the convention, and a memorial section honoring those who have gone before us.
