Let us debunk a title in religion that is not supported by the Bible: Jehovah's Witness.

No human being with the exception of Jesus Christ can be a witness of Jehovah. Because he was with Jehovah (not from) but in the beginning, was part of the creation, and existed before the creation. John 1: 1-3. He was not only with God, but possessed deity status, for he was God, under the title: the Word.

To be a viable witness to anything, you need to at least see and/or hear. Jesus sent John's disciples in reply to his inquiry whether Jesus was the one? He said, "Go tell John what you've both seen and heard." Matt 11: 4-5, Luke 7:22.

Jesus, nevertheless, commissions Christians (the Saints) to be witnesses unto him by virtue of the Holy Ghost. Acts 1:8

Examinons un titre religieux qui n'est pas étayé par la Bible : « Témoin de Jéhovah ».

Aucun être humain, à l'exception de Jésus-Christ, ne peut être un témoin de Jéhovah. En effet, il était avec Jéhovah — non pas issu de Lui, mais présent dès le commencement — ; il a pris part à la création et existait avant celle-ci (Jean 1:1-3). Il n'était pas seulement avec Dieu, mais possédait la nature divine, car il était Dieu, sous le titre de « la Parole ».

Pour être un témoin crédible de quoi que ce soit, il faut au minimum avoir vu et/ou entendu. En réponse à la question de savoir s'il était bien celui qui devait venir, Jésus a renvoyé les disciples de Jean en disant : « Allez dire à Jean ce que vous avez vu et entendu » (Matthieu 11:4-5 ; Luc 7:22).

Néanmoins, Jésus charge les chrétiens (les saints) d'être ses témoins par la puissance du Saint-Esprit (Actes 1:8).

I am victorious because I believe in God, in Jesus his son, and in the Holy Ghost.

I have known moments of loneliness and sometimes despair. I have been honest with those who didn't deserve it. I have known moments of failure, but also of glory and success. I have met good people, and I have experienced happy and sad times. But that's life; I accept it as it is, with all that it brings me. I believe in God and his son, Jesus Christ, from whom my victory comes.

Would you welcome Jesus into your heart today? If you do, you will begin to experience the peace that passes understanding.

Please let me know if you do accept Jesus today. I'd like to meet you, my new brother/sister in Christ.
