A Message from Rabbi Eisenkramer:
On this Shabbat, Israel and the United States are at war with the Iranian Regime. Our fellow Jews in Israel are staying in bomb shelters as missiles are shot at them from Iran. United States Military bases are under attack.
At this time of great uncertainty and fear, I am praying for the brave men and women of the United States Military. I am praying for all of our brothers and sisters in Israel and I am praying for the soldiers of the IDF.
O God, we reach up to You in this hour of turmoil and uncertainty with humble hearts and prayers. Spread Your shelter of peace—Sukkat Shalom—over the people of Israel and the United States. Grant protection to the brave men and women of the armed forces and the IDF, shield them from harm, and strengthen their resolve.
We ask of You to comfort the fearful. May Your lovingkindness envelop those who are anxious, and may Your presence be felt among families longing for peace and safety.
May You bless Israel and the United States with enduring strength and unity. Eternal God, may we soon see an end to violence and restore harmony to our world, so that nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor learn war anymore.
May the One who makes peace in the heavens make peace for us, for all Israel, for the United States, and for all peoples everywhere. Amen.
B’Shalom,
Rabbi Eric Eisenkramer
