Wednesday Worship Word: My feet failed me when I reached the water!

This week I ran, I literally put my shoes on and ran from my life. I was gone for hours and I had travelled miles. When I got to the water my feet failed me! Something happened, I found peace. My crazy thoughts and wild heart started to calm almost immediately. I took off my shoes and laid on the dock for a long time, I called upon Jesus and he met me there. He sat with me for a long time then He brought me a friend, and she sat with me even longer.

When was the last time you called on Jesus? Do you let Him sit beside you? Do you let him bring others into your life?

This past weekend a close friend of my sister's took his own life. I wonder if he called out to Jesus? I know without a bout He was there. I wonder if he felt alone? I know without a bout we have all been there.

Friends, when you are walking in the shadows of death please know that you are never alone!

When your feet fail you, Jesus is there! Let your friends see your messy life, they will keep you above water!
