We're kicking off our summer series in the book of James, diving deep into what it means to live holy lives as followers of Christ. This isn't about arrogance or perfection—it's about wisdom for everyday faith.
James, the brother of Jesus who went from doubter to devoted servant, gives us practical truth: trials will come, but they have purpose. When we remain steadfast through difficulty, seeking God's wisdom with the same passion on bad days as good days, we grow tougher in our faith. The question isn't IF trials come, but WHEN they come—will we stay faithful?
Here's the challenge: Are we the same person praising God on our 150 good days as we are when one hard day hits? True wisdom isn't a quick prayer before a big decision—it's the daily pursuit of knowing God deeper. There's a blessing, a crown of life, promised to those who remain steadfast.
This summer, let's learn together what it means to be servants of Christ, finding joy in trials and hope beyond this temporary life.
