Youth Sunday Recap! We are so proud of our youth for stepping up and leading service today. It’s incredible to see the next generation of the church on fire for the Lord. Also a huge thank you to Pastor Jordan for preaching a great word today & the Pastoral Team for helping with service as well. Our church is incredibly blessed, that’s for sure! 💙

Whew, That’ll Preach! What an incredible reminder from Pastor Alex that we are not defined by the sins we once struggled with. It’s not “who we are” that gets to define us anymore. Last week we had our deacon ordination during our Wednesday night service. We are so grateful for all of our deacons and how they show up for our church. We would like to especially welcome our newest deacon, Nino! Nino thank you for being willing to serve our church and we are so excited to stand by you on this new journey! 💙

Our volunteer spotlight this week goes to Gene McKinney. Gene has been at Georges Creek since he was born, and has been a member for 67 years. Gene has been singing in the choir since he was 14. He has also served as a Sunday School teacher, chairman of Deacons, Stewardship, Properties, and the Cemetery Committee, and he currently serves as the church treasurer. You would be hard-pressed to find someone who loves the church as much as Gene does. He is a true servant and his heart for the Lord shows in all he does.
