The greatest legacy parents can leave is seeing their children and grandchildren walk in the way of the Lord. While business or talent can be passed down, spiritual focus on God is an unparalleled inheritance.

Christ’s Plan of Salvation: (“Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6).
HEAR: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
BELIEVE: “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16)
REPENT: “Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38);
“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,” (Act 3:19)
CONFESS: “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10)
BAPTIZED: “And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.'” (Acts 22:16)
“There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” (1Peter 3:21)
“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4)
“For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” (Galatians 3:27)

What legacy are we building? We can choose to build one focused on God, bringing blessings to our homes and communities. As Deuteronomy 6 teaches, love God with all your heart and diligently pass these words to your children. This foundation starts with us.

Teaching our children God's Word equips them with everything needed for life and protection against the world's wickedness. As seen in Colossians 3:16, letting Christ's word dwell richly within us provides the ultimate defense, just as Jesus used scripture to overcome temptation.

“Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.” (Psa 127:1-2)

Just like a house needs a solid foundation to withstand storms, a child's life requires a strong foundation built by God. We do that by teaching them God's Word.
