Thought for today:
Are your thoughts and actions a response based on lies from the enemy, or God's revelation? Will you let fear and unpleasant emotions rule, or the truth of Gods loving-kindness rule?

The fact that God is for me, along with his control over all things I can feel safe and secure and not let the lies of Satan control me.
Don't let the lies of the enemy drive your emotions and thoughts today. God has given us free will to choose the thoughts that we think.

I pray that my thoughts today are based on the fullness of God's desires for my life and the abundant life that I can find only in him.

Col 3:2 - Set you minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Phil 4: 8-9 - Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admireable, beautuful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of Gid, praising him always. Follow the example of all that we have imparted to you and the God of peace wil be with you in all things.

I wanted to share this beautiful news. If you recall, we had a local girl from Smyrna that was in a horrible accident while traveling for a volleyball tournament. She was recently baptized.

🔥🛡️ Iron Sharpening Iron 🔥🛡️

WHO: Welcome to Eagleville Ironmen, a gathering of men from diverse life backgrounds who are gather for the purpose of having a weekly conversation about life around a cup of coffee and the Bible.

WHAT: We gather with the understanding that we will observe certain core agreements in our time together. Primarily, we agree that Jesus is the answer and has the guidance we are looking for in life.

Each week, an email goes out with the designated Bible chapters and verses for study, along with thought-provoking questions to discuss during our Bible study sessions.

WHERE: Join us at Grindstone Cowboy Coffee, located at 115 N Main Street, Suite C, Eagleville, TN 37060. It's a welcoming space where we can delve into the Word and strengthen our faith.

WHEN: Every Wednesday morning from 5:15 AM to 6:15 AM. We understand life's demands, and it's absolutely fine if you need to leave a bit early.

HOW: As Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" (NIV). 🗡️ Through studying scriptures, engaging in open discussions, and coming together in prayer, we support each other's growth and maturity in our Christian faith.

GOALS: Our mission extends beyond our gatherings. Through study, prayer, and actions, we aim to be a shining light in our community. As St. Francis of Assisi put it, "Preach the gospel at all times; when necessary, use words."
