STRESS IS A KILLER. Stress used to be a well-known and published contributor to poor health in America; but these days, they hardly talk about it because stress has become so normalized. But it’s not normal. And it’s terrible for your mind and body. One of the number one things I recommend people do is to reduce as much stress as possible from their lives. Sometimes this involves very difficult decisions, including regarding people, even family and friends.  Setting boundaries and keeping necessary distance can be very helpful in reducing stress. Either way, if you don’t take care of your physical and mental health, you’re not gonna be helpful for anyone. Some people think it’s selfish to care for themselves. It’s not. ARE YOU FEELING WEAK? I need to share something of grave importance with you. My friends there is POWER in the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the POWER of God” Romans 1:16

But see satan doesn’t want Christians to know the WORDS of Jesus Christ have any POWER to help them. He has convinced many that Christ’s words have no power at all. He says “The Bible.. the Gospel… meh.. you’ve read it, you know it, there’s nothing else to learn, or hear, or seek after.”

But Jesus says “Satan is the Father of lies! Don’t listen to him! My words are spirit and life! You can never hear them too many times! They are new every time you hear them!” John 6:63

I know a lot of Christians who started out on a strong foot, but they have slipped and are now doubting the power of the message about Christ. I pray they will return !

“You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from Jesus. “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.” Galatians 5:7

He is saying a little bit of sin, a little bit of unbelief, turns into a whole bunch of sin and unbelief— and they can and will separate us from the life of God and sink you into depression. So, who can we turn to? God. Ask God to restore your faith today. He will. Guaranteed.

You’re right, you can’t change who you are. But God can. If he can change a brutal death device into the universal symbol of resurrection and new life ✝️, he can certainly make you into a completely new creation... if you let Him.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a WISE MAN who built his house on the rock..” Matt 7:24

So, we can’t just hear the words, we actually have to put them into practice in order to be wise and live on a firm foundation under our feet. Not always easy, but all things are possible with He who strengthens me.

FEAR—a lot of it anyway—is inherited. Pray for the Spirit of God almighty to CRUSH your fear with everlasting faith that can move mountains. There is no problem too big or too small for the God of all creation. But you gotta believe!
