All Faith United Methodist Church Our Vision

To love God and others. -Matthew 22:37-39 About Us
All Faith UMC has a unique story. People dress however they feel comfortable.

As many United Methodist Churches, AFUMC began in a living room. When the living room was out grown the charter members went searching for property along State Highway 86. The best property they found was where the current church is located. On the property was a shut down motel that served as the church for several years. Some modifications were made so that the motel could be used for a sanctuar

y and meeting space. Later the swimming pool was filled in and a sanctuary was built and a few more years went by and a family life center was built. The original motel is still in use as classrooms, prayer room, library, nursery, food pantry and fellowship area. Since AFUMC is located in a lake community we are a casual congregation. In the summer months it is not unusual to find people wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Every Sunday at 10:30 there is a fellowship time before worship where people gather for coffee and a cookie. Our worship service is more "traditional" in style with some contemporary additions. Worship begins at 10:40 and we have Sunday school at 9:30.

🌿 Wednesday Faith Challenge 🌿

In the middle of a busy week, pause for a moment and thank our Holy Father for one of His beautiful creations. πŸ’™

Sometimes the smallest things remind us of God’s goodness:
πŸƒ A cool breeze
🐾 Animals
πŸŒ… A colorful sunset
😊 A smiling friend
🌎 The beauty of creation around us

What are you thankful for today? ✝️

πŸ“– Psalm: Psalm 102:1–17
πŸ“– Old Testament: Proverbs 3:13–18
πŸ“– Gospel: John 8:31–38

Midweek is a good reminder that true wisdom and freedom are found in Christ. When we remain rooted in His Word, He shapes our hearts, guides our steps, and draws us closer to Him.

Spend a few moments today reflecting on His truth and the peace that comes from walking in His ways. πŸ™βœ¨

🌿 Tuesday Scripture Reading 🌿

πŸ“– Psalm: Psalm 102:1–17
πŸ“– Old Testament: Proverbs 3:5–12
πŸ“– Epistle: Acts 7:44–56

Today’s readings remind us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, even when we don’t fully understand the path ahead. God’s wisdom is greater than our own, and His faithfulness never fails.

Take time today to pause, pray, and place your worries into His hands. He is still leading, still working, and still worthy of our trust. πŸ™βœ¨

πŸ“– Old Testament: Exodus 13:17–22

As we begin a new week, we are reminded that God never leaves His people without direction. Just as He guided Israel through the wilderness, He continues to lead us todayβ€”often one step at a time.

Even when the road ahead feels uncertain, His presence goes before us. Trust Him in the journey. πŸ™βœ¨

Pastor Bill's reflection from Sunday's teaching.

The doctrine of the Trinity is not just abstract theology; it is deeply practical. Because God is Three in One:

β€’ You are never alone. The same God who created the universe, whose Spirit hovered over the waters, and whose Son promised to be with you is actively involved in your life.
β€’ Your life has purpose. You were created by a relational God who invites you into relationship with Him and sends you on mission with Him.
β€’ Community matters. The Trinity models perfect unity and love. Healthy churches and families reflect that same unity in diversity.

Think of the Holy Trinity in this way, Gods work from creation towards a new creation for your salvation. May it be so-Pastor Bill
