All Faith UMC has a unique story. People dress however they feel comfortable.

As many United Methodist Churches, AFUMC began in a living room. When the living room was out grown the charter members went searching for property along State Highway 86. The best property they found was where the current church is located. On the property was a shut down motel that served as the church for several years. Some modifications were made so that the motel could be used for a sanctuar

y and meeting space. Later the swimming pool was filled in and a sanctuary was built and a few more years went by and a family life center was built. The original motel is still in use as classrooms, prayer room, library, nursery, food pantry and fellowship area. Since AFUMC is located in a lake community we are a casual congregation. In the summer months it is not unusual to find people wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Every Sunday at 10:30 there is a fellowship time before worship where people gather for coffee and a cookie. Our worship service is more "traditional" in style with some contemporary additions. Worship begins at 10:40 and we have Sunday school at 9:30.

🍝 CAMP KICKOFF SPAGHETTI DINNER 🍝

Come join us Tuesday, September 8 at 5:00 PM at the AFUMC Life Center for a free spaghetti dinner as we introduce CAMP — Community Activities for Multi-Generational Participation!

CAMP is a new Christ-centered after-school ministry where children, youth, adults, and seniors can come together for faith, fellowship, learning, service, and fun.

We'll share what CAMP is all about, enjoy dinner together, spend time in fellowship, and close with prayer as we prepare to begin CAMP on September 15.

We'll also have sign-up opportunities for those who would like to be part of CAMP by:

🛠️ Sharing a skill or hobby
🍝 Cooking or donating meals
🍽️ Helping serve
🧹 Helping clean
🎨 Helping with activities
🎮 Playing games and building relationships
🙏 Praying for CAMP
💬 Hanging out, talking, and getting to know our kids and families

Bring a friend, neighbor, or family member and come see what CAMP is all about! Whether you want to volunteer, learn more, or simply enjoy an evening together, we'd love to have you. ❤️

Monday morning reflection from Pastor Bill Kenagy

A special thanks to Jeff Knappen for bringing our message Sunday, Be My Disciple. As each of us grow deeper in our faith as disciples of Jesus Christ may we hear Jesus’ invitation to “Come and See” by Finding Our Yes in worship and service. In which on that glorious day we may hear the words of our Lord, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”

2 Tim 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the
faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord,
the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day- and not only to me, but also to
all who have longed for his appearing. “
