This Memorial Day weekend, Pastor Olson talked about the hope that we as Christians have after death.

This week was Pastoral Assistant Sam Jagt’s last sermon here at Living Word. We are going to miss him and his family, but we pray that the Lord blesses them as they go on their seminary internship!

We are so thankful for Pastor Olson and his ministry up at the Free Lutheran Bible College!

Dr. Nathan Olson has been teaching at FLBC since 2020. When asked to reflect on a favorite memory from the year, he shared:

"One of the teaching tools that I have tried to religiously implement in the classroom is the incorporation of peer share moments. Students take 90 seconds and turn to their neighbor to think through and process what they are learning. Classroom studies have shown that when students not only hear information, but also process it and articulate it for themselves, they cement it deep within their soul. Looking out and seeing students not only hearing information, but personalizing it, will always be a highlight for me."
