Here is Some Good News for the Christmas Blues.
1. Give yourself permission to slow down.
Rest is not optional – it’s essential. The holidays can create pressure to do everything for everyone. Pause, breathe, and remind yourself that your mental health matters.
2. Protect your peace like it’s on your schedule.
Your well-being deserves space on your calendar. If certain situations or traditions drain you, it’s okay to set boundaries. Protecting your peace is a sign of strength.
3. Stay grounded in your routine.
Whether it’s a morning coffee, a short walk, journaling, or quiet time, keep your grounding habits. If you don’t have one, start small – consistency helps reduce stress.
4. Ask for help and let others support you.
You don’t have to carry everything alone. Asking for help is wisdom, not weakness. Share the load so you can truly enjoy the season.
5. Choose joy intentionally.
Joy doesn’t always happen by chance – sometimes you create it. Listen to music you love, savor a good meal, laugh with someone you trust. Small moments can bring light.
Continue to walk in favor and love. Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings to you all.
