We are looking forward to formally introducing Candidate Rev. Adam Peeler of Fayetteville, Georgia, to our pulpit this Sunday, June 22.
Pastor Adam Peeler is grateful to have been raised in a Christian home and to have come to faith at a young age. His faith grew steadily through the influence of his family and the ministry of a local PCA church that emphasized discipleship and the means of grace. It was during this time that he met his future wife, Jessica, whom he married while they were both in college and working. Although he initially pursued a career in aviation maintenance, the events of 9/11 and the birth of their first child shifted his path to roles in the automotive industry, manufacturing, and eventually as a facilities manager at a school. While at the school, he participated in a vision trip to Africa, which, though not leading to overseas missions, stirred a deep desire to serve the Lord more fully. This led him to enroll in seminary while continuing to work, and he graduated with a Master of Divinity from Metro Atlanta Seminary in 2016.
Over the years, he and Jessica have been blessed with ten children, and family life has been a central part of God’s sanctifying work in his life. Parenting a large family while serving in ministry has been both humbling and deeply rewarding. He has served the church in a variety of roles—from deacon to ruling elder, pastoral intern, and eventually full-time pastor with a focus on discipling children and families. In his current role as an associate pastor, he has continued to grow in preaching and pastoral care. Through every season, the Lord has been faithful to lead and sustain him, and he is prayerfully looking ahead to where God might call him next—possibly to serve at First Presbyterian Dyersburg.
