On January 8, 1950, a young man of 18 years, surrendered to full time ministry to serve the Lord in a small Church called Southside Baptist. Since then, this young man, Bill Oakley has gone on to preach and teach the Gospel throughout the United States and the World. Seventy-two years later, Dr. Oakley is still preaching God's Word almost every Sunday. This Sunday he will be back at the place where he surrendered his life to the Lord. We have the pleasure of welcoming Dr Bill Oakley to preach Sunday Morning as we celebrate 72 years of his faithful service to the Lord. We will be having a special celebration beginning at 1:00 P.M. so people can tell him how much he has meant to them during this time.
