Transitions of Dyer County

Transitions of Dyer County Ministering the love and resurrection power of Jesus to women in crisis! We are a Non-Profit Organization funded by individual and business donors.

Transitions of Dyer County is a Ministry of Jesus Christ that Nurtures and Disciples Women who desire a new beginning. Transitions provides a 12 month in house program for women who are recovering from Alcohol and Drug Addictions as well as various other life controlling issues. While at Transitions the women will receive Christ Centered Teaching, Life Skills, MRT, Highly Structured Living and Dis

cipline, Mentoring, Therapy, Addictive Behavior Modification, Job Skills Training and Employment Assistance in the 4th Phase of our program. Transitions provides encouragement and healthy relationships to women in Crisis as well hope for the future. Admission is by application and interview as well as a commitment to a nine-month program with three months in After-Care. Today, the women went fishing together. While we were casting lines into the water, we were reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 4:19: "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."

Fishing requires patience, trust, and perseverance—just like recovery. We don't always see results immediately, but God is always working beneath the surface. As we cast our lines, we were reminded to keep casting hope, love, and the Gospel into the lives of others, trusting God for the catch.

What a blessing to spend time in God's creation, growing in fellowship, healing, and faith together.

Had such a great time this morning at Mrs. Athena' s house doing crafts!!! It was awesome and we can't wait to go back ....
