Are you or someone you know in need of help with basic household necessities?

The 'St. Nicholas Charity on Wheels' Mobile Pantry for Household Items will stop this Thursday, May 14th from 10:00-10:30am. 🚐

Individuals in need of assistance are given a free bag with toiletries and cleaning supplies - such as laundry detergent, deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.

*Bagged items may change depending on need and what is donated*

St. Nicholas Charity on Wheels is a ministry of Catholic Charities - Diocese of Peoria that serves those in need. The van comes to the parking lot of St. Patrick’s Parish Hall (126 W. Mason Ave., Dwight) once a month. Spread the word! ❤️

📣 Free backpack filled with school supplies for the next school year! Read the caption for all the registration details ⬇️

The St. Nicholas Van and Catholic Charities - Diocese of Peoria will be conducting their annual Backpack Signup for 2026 🚐🎒

During the monthly St. Nicholas Van stop, families can register to receive a backpack filled with school supplies, which will be delivered in July before the new school year begins.

📍 Dwight Area Families: The St. Nicholas Van will conduct its Dwight stop at the St. Patrick Church/Blessed Trinity Parish Hall Parking Lot on Thursday, May 14th from 10:00am-10:30am. Please register during this scheduled time.

📍 For Peoria Area Families (St. Ann & St. Mark):
Please report to the Mother Cabrini Center to sign up on the following dates:
🗓️ May 26 – May 28, 2026, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Parents/guardians must be present in person to register their child or children. Sign-up is first-come, first-served, so please plan accordingly.

⚠️ We kindly ask everyone to please be considerate and arrive only at the scheduled parish locations or designated sign-up areas when registration is taking place. This helps us serve families in an organized and fair manner.

🙏 Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and support as we prepare for another school year. Together, we can help our children start strong with the supplies they need!

To our dedicated St. Paul School - Odell, IL teachers—thank you for nurturing both the minds and hearts of our students, helping them grow in faith and knowledge.
