Current freshmen through juniors are invited to spend a meaningful week serving others, building community, and growing in faith through the Appalachian Service Project.

The trip will take place June 19–26, 2027, and adult chaperones are needed too!

We are grateful to Kellan and Elarie, two of our newest altar servers, who recently began serving at Mass! Thank you for saying “yes” to this special ministry. 🙏

We’re always looking for new altar servers!

Children and teens who have received First Communion and are in Grade 3 or higher are invited to give altar serving a try. Training is provided, scheduling is flexible, and it’s a wonderful way to stay involved and serve our parish community.

Don’t miss the boat - Faith Formation registration is open!

As we get ready for a new year of Faith Formation at Holy Family, we encourage families to register soon. There are some important updates to our programs this year, so be sure to review the options for your family.

🌟 First Communion — Our preparation process has changed this year, including important information for families with children entering Grade 1 or preparing for First Communion.

🌟 BRIDGE Family Faith Formation — Families with children in Preschool–Grade 7 gather monthly to grow together through prayer, learning, service and community.

🌟 Confirmation — Our Confirmation program for students in Grade 8 and above begins this fall.

We loved seeing our kids learning, laughing, creating, and growing in faith together throughout the week.

A big thank you to all of our counselors and counselors-in-training who helped make VBS such a fun and special experience for everyone. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and enthusiasm you shared with our kids!

Important First Communion Updates!

Families with children entering Grade 1 or Grade 2, there are important changes to our First Communion preparation process this year.

✨ New this year: First Communion preparation now begins in Grade 1 through our new Seek program.

✨ Families with children entering Grade 2 will begin First Communion preparation in October.

✨ All First Communion families need to schedule a family meeting before registering.

Plan ahead and get your meeting on the calendar now! Fall gets busy quickly, and we don’t want your family to miss out. Schedule your meeting while it’s on your mind so you’re ready for the year ahead.

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 💙

The Assumption celebrates our belief that, at the end of her earthly life, Mary was taken body and soul into heavenly glory. Her Assumption is a beautiful reminder of the hope we share in Christ and the promise of eternal life with God.

While the Assumption is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year, we invite you to take a moment today to honor Mary and reflect on her example of faith and trust in God.

It’s always wonderful to welcome newly trained altar servers as they begin this special ministry. Thank you to all of our young people who step forward to serve - and to the families who support and encourage them!
