As our teams in Pakistan travel to villages throughout the country, planting wells and sharing the gospel, they also pray for the sick.

One woman, afflicted with tuberculosis, was completely healed after they prayed for her. Her miraculous recovery led both her and her family to faith in Jesus.

Another woman, facing a breast tumor, experienced a remarkable healing through their prayers, and she and her entire family came to faith in Christ.

And in Sindh, where livestock are a family’s livelihood and most valuable possession, a sick cow was healed after prayer. This powerful testimony opened many hearts, and numerous Hindus chose to follow Jesus.

In places where few have heard the name of Jesus, God’s power is opening doors and drawing people to Himself.

A powerful update from Congo 🇨🇩

Our JLM partner Mama Rose, her husband, and their team are reaching those who have never heard in Congo, sharing the Gospel and providing practical help in meaningful ways. Recently, they have:

• Equipped 85+ pastors with study Bibles, strengthening their ability to teach and lead (many received these as Christmas gifts)
• Completed a clean water project that will serve over 22,000 people next week, improving health and reducing waterborne disease
• Launched a sewing program for high school girls, giving them skills for future income and independence
• Built an early childhood school in a second village, creating a safe place for young children to learn and grow

These efforts are bringing both physical help and lasting spiritual impact.

Next, they are preparing to launch an agriculture project, including a goat and chicken farm, to support long-term sustainability.

Every month, we receive stories like this from Pakistan, where clean water and the Gospel are transforming lives:

"My name is Ali. As a farmer, my life has always been connected to the land, but inside, I felt empty and restless. In our community, we lived under fear and tradition, worshiping what we did not truly understand.

For years, our tribe struggled, not only for peace, but even for something as basic as water. Our daughters faced danger when going to collect it, and our hearts were burdened by daily hardships.

When a friend came with a believer who wanted to hold a prayer meeting, I was hesitant. But they also offered to install a water pump. I saw it as a practical solution to our problem and thought, “What difference can one day of prayer make?”

As they shared the Gospel, they spoke about Jesus, His love, His sacrifice, and His power to heal. Something began to change in my heart. They shared from Acts 17:23 about the “Unknown God,” and in that moment, I realized that the God I had been searching for was not unknown. He is the living God, the Creator of heaven and earth, and He had revealed Himself to me.

My whole family felt the same. We were no longer worshiping in confusion, but had come to know the truth.

Today, the water pump is a blessing that meets our physical need, but the greater gift is the Living Water we have found in Jesus Christ. We came seeking water, but we found salvation.
The pump brings water to our village, but Jesus has brought life to our souls."

An Audio Bible thrown into a sewer. A man risking everything to retrieve it. And a life transformed by the Word of God. 🙏

Every year, our JLM leader Emma returns to Bangladesh, her home country, for 3-4 months. She travels across the nation with a team, preaching the Gospel, distributing Audio Bibles, and planting house churches.

Recently, one of the local pastors received a call from a man who had accepted one of the Audio Bibles during the team's visit last December. When the man brought it home, his wife was furious. She grabbed it, marched outside, and threw it into the village sewer.

That night, he secretly retrieved it. Though it was soaked and broken, he set it out to dry in a hidden spot over several days, and it eventually began working again. From then on, he listened in secret, at home when he could, and at his shop when it was safer. Eventually, his curiosity led him to contact the pastor and request a meeting. When they met, the pastor shared the Gospel, and the man accepted Christ on the spot. He is now preparing for baptism.

In Pakistan, three families cried out to Jesus in desperation. Here's what happened. 🙏

One woman shared, “I had been married for seven years but was unable to have children. We sought help from many healers and took medicine from doctors, but nothing worked. Then we met a Christian believer who prayed for us in our home. The Lord Jesus gave us hope and blessed us with a child. Now we believe in Him and are so grateful.”

A car mechanic was facing intense family pressure to divorce his wife for only bearing daughters. When Pastor Moses visited his shop, the man shared his pain, and Pastor Moses prayed for the family. A few months later, a baby boy was born. The father came personally to celebrate, brought sweets for everyone, and declared that only Jesus could have done this miracle. Today, his whole family follows Jesus.

A third family had been praying for a baby for 20 long years. One of our evangelists visited, prayed with them, and shared about the miracle-working power of Jesus. A few months later, God answered. Their daughter conceived and gave birth, and the entire family joyfully gave their lives to Christ.

These are not isolated stories. This is just a glimpse of what God is doing in Pakistan!
