One of our female evangelists in Pakistan recently shared this encouraging story of faith and healing:

Sahian lives in a small village in Pakistan where I often visit to preach and share God’s word. Last week, when I visited her home, she told me, “Sister, two days before you came, my daughter’s son became seriously ill. He suddenly developed such a high fever that it affected his brain. There was no one at home to help. His eyes rolled back, and he became unconscious.

"You have taught us about Jesus and how He heals the sick. You have also shown us how to pray. We pray every morning and evening. In this difficult moment, my daughter and I cried out to the Lord in prayer. As soon as we finished and said ‘Amen,’ the child opened his eyes and began to cry. We praised God, and soon after, his fever completely subsided. Hallelujah!”

This is just one testimony from many we receive weekly of how God is moving in Pakistan!

Audio Bibles opened the door in Bangladesh, and an entire village responded.

In a remote village in the Mongla region, people had been listening to Audio Bibles left behind during an earlier visit from our JLM leader Emma’s team. One villager then contacted one of the pastors from the team, and asked him to come share the gospel.

More than 300 people gathered. As the team worshiped and preached, testimonies of healing and deliverance began spreading through the crowd. The presence of the Holy Spirit was so powerful that no one wanted to leave, and the gathering continued through the night in prayer.

The team prayed for a young boy with a withered hand. When the pastor told him to stretch it out, he did, and he was instantly healed.

By the end of the night, more than 150 people had been healed, over 160 gave their lives to Jesus, and many were baptized in the Holy Spirit.

Praise God for what He is doing in Bangladesh. Please pray for the new believers…please! Also pray for the continued spread of the gospel throughout this region.

At 86 years old, this Muslim tribal chief had never once heard the name of Jesus. Here is the story from one of our JLM field evangelists:

“When I met him, I asked, “Have you ever heard the name of Jesus Christ?” He replied that in his 86 years of life, he had never heard the name.

I said to him, ‘May I tell you about this name? Because there is great power and eternal life in the name of Jesus.’ Hearing this, he was very surprised and immediately said, ‘Please tell me about this name.’

I then shared with him the prophecies of the Old Testament, the birth of Jesus Christ, His life, His miracles, and the message of eternal life. I explained how He came as salvation for the world, gave His life on the cross, rose victoriously from the dead on the third day, and ascended into heaven. I also shared that He will soon return. He listened very carefully, responding with ‘Yes, yes.’

When I finished, I asked, ‘Do you now want to receive eternal life?’ He immediately replied, ‘Yes, absolutely.’ I told him, ‘For this, you must confess your sins and give your life to Jesus Christ.’

He confessed his sins and accepted Jesus into his life. I prayed for him and gave him a Bible, and he was filled with joy. As I was leaving, he asked, ‘When will we meet again?’ I told him, ‘We will meet again very soon.’

All thanks and praise be to the Lord Jesus for this beautiful work.”

Next month, our team in Pakistan will host a Prayer Festival for 20,000 people. It will be a welcoming gathering for believers, seekers, and anyone in need of hope or encouragement. We are praying that there will be many salvations and healings.

God is moving in the remote village of Tuidi Madiata in the Congo.

The team recently held the first-ever Vacation Bible School there. It brought together 224 children for a week of learning, joy, worship, and fellowship, including 17 children with disabilities and 42 children from neighboring remote villages.

For many, it was their first opportunity to experience an event like this. Children laughed, sang, played, learned the Lord’s Prayer, and heard the message of Jesus. Many received Christ as their Savior.

The children with disabilities were able to participate fully, breaking barriers and encouraging acceptance among the other children.

38 young adults received their own Bibles, placing His Word in hands that will carry it into homes and throughout the community.

We praise God for the doors He is opening, for every child and family being reached, and for the seeds of faith being planted in Tuidi Madiata. Please continue to pray that these seeds will grow and reach those who still have never heard about Jesus. 🙏

For seven years, John Cao was imprisoned in China because of his faith and his work sharing the gospel. Even there, he continued to bring hope to others and led many to Christ.

John was released two years ago, but his passport has still not been returned. Now, as he battles Stage 4 cancer, he remains separated from his wife, children, and grandchildren in the United States.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me.” (Matthew 19:14)

In 42 Bible and educational schools in Pakistan that our JLM team has started, more than 2,000 children are receiving an education while also learning God’s Word and how to share their faith.

We believe God is raising up the next generation of pastors, evangelists, teachers, and Christian leaders through these schools and our Children’s Projector Shows.

Please pray that these children will grow into faithful disciples of Christ and boldly carry the Gospel throughout Pakistan and beyond.
