Clean water changes everything.

For seven years, John Cao was imprisoned in China because of his faith and his work sharing the gospel. Even there, he continued to bring hope to others and led many to Christ.

John was released two years ago, but his passport has still not been returned. Now, as he battles Stage 4 cancer, he remains separated from his wife, children, and grandchildren in the United States.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me.” (Matthew 19:14)

In 42 Bible and educational schools in Pakistan that our JLM team has started, more than 2,000 children are receiving an education while also learning God’s Word and how to share their faith.

We believe God is raising up the next generation of pastors, evangelists, teachers, and Christian leaders through these schools and our Children’s Projector Shows.

Please pray that these children will grow into faithful disciples of Christ and boldly carry the Gospel throughout Pakistan and beyond.

The gospel is reaching the remote corners of Nepal!🇳🇵

Since 2023, JLM has been training Nepali leaders to plant house churches, and those efforts have already led to the establishment of 253 house churches across the region.

On Easter Sunday this year, 51 new believers were baptized, mostly led to Christ by an amazing female evangelist.

Thanks to the generosity of a Jordan Lewis Missions donor, three ministry leaders in Pakistan have each received a motorbike, giving them the ability to reach more villages with the Gospel, plant more house churches, and encourage more believers.

All three of them were deeply encouraged and grateful regarding this gift. Here is one of their stories:

“My name is S, and I serve among many Hindu tribes.
Before receiving this blessing, I carried out my outreach ministry on a bicycle, and often on foot, walking long distances under the extreme heat of Sindh.

I had prayed for any form of transport, even another bicycle. I never imagined the Lord had prepared a far greater gift.
When I heard that God had blessed me with a motorbike, I was overwhelmed with joy. I cried, celebrated, and jumped with excitement, and my whole tribe celebrated the wonderful news with me.

Now I can travel anytime, anywhere, to teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As soon as I received the motorbike, I began visiting new tribes, praying for the sick, conducting more baptisms, and planting more house churches.

I believe the fruit of my ministry will double or even triple within a month. I have promised the Lord that through this motorbike I will work faithfully to win hundreds of lives for Christ every month.”

One Audio Bible. One changed life.

While Emma was in Bangladesh, she and her team gave an Audio Bible to a man named Amin. He began listening to it every day.

Not long after Emma left, Amin became very sick. His family urged him to go to the doctor, but Amin wanted to pray to Jesus first. As he listened to the Audio Bible, he had heard how Jesus healed the sick and how His followers were told to pray in His name with faith.

So Amin prayed and asked Jesus to heal him.

A day or two later, he was completely healed.

Amazed by what had happened, Amin attended a house church for the first time. He shared his story with the leader and asked how he could follow Jesus. That day, Amin put his faith in Christ as his Savior.

Today, he is preparing to be baptized.

God is transforming lives in Bangladesh, one heart at a time.

Every week, we receive testimonies like this from villages where clean water and the love of Jesus are transforming lives. Here’s one that encouraged us, and we hope it encourages you too:

"We are farmers, and our families have lived here together for many years. We used to believe in saints, faqirs, and many gods. We lived in fear. We also had no clean water, so we drank dirty water. Many people became sick with diseases and some even died.

We had heard about Jesus, but we did not know who He was.

One day, God’s (JLM) servants came to our village. They told us that Jesus is the Son of God. They explained that He is the Bread of Life and the Living Water, and that everyone who trusts in Him will find true life and salvation.

They prayed for one of our sick brothers, and Jesus healed him completely. Within an hour they encouraged us to put our faith in Jesus.

They installed a water pump to bring clean water to our village.. We thank God for this wonderful gift. Now our people, along with our neighbors, all have clean water to drink.

Today, our village is healthier, and many people are following Jesus. We are thankful to God and his Son, our Lord Jesus."
