This Sunday: Celebrate Father’s Day at North East
June 21 • 10 AM

Father’s Day Worship 2026 is going to be a high time in the Lord! We’re honoring the 'faith-full' men among us — and the mighty men of valor in the making — who are cultivating good soil, producing good fruit, and glorifying Christ in all they do (Matthew 13:23).

If Men’s Day Choir rehearsal was any sign… whew! Expect a hand waving, foot stomping good time. Plus, North East’s own Rev. Arthur Haskins, Associate Minister, will bring an inspiring, life giving message.

Bring a friend. Bring a brother. Be intentional to bring someone who needs to know the love of the Heavenly Father.

HOMECOMING '26 Part 2

What a blessing Homecoming 2026 was! Our church family showed up in every way, and we are overflowing with gratitude for dedicated servant leaders who helped to make this year’s celebration truly memorable.

Thank you to every servant leader who served with gladness. You served with heart, unity, and Romans 12 devotion. Homecoming 2026 was beautiful because of you!

Your preparation, your joy, your willingness to go above and beyond — it all helped create a Homecoming that inspired hearts and strengthened our church family.

There’s no place like home — especially a Spirit filled one. Homecoming ’26 reminded us once again that God delivers, just as He always has at North East. Our church family — long time members, new members, and visiting friends — came together for a powerful day of worship and fellowship.

Rev. Derrick L. Gill brought a timely Word, challenging us to be thankful even when God empties our boat. What a message, and what a moment, “When Jesus Gets In Your Business (Luke 5:1-11).

What a blessing yesterday on the eve of our Homecoming ‘26 celebration! We were honored to welcome back Rev. David L. Massey, who served faithfully as Pastor of North East from 1974–1983.

Rev. Massey and Pastor Claude Dunston had the chance to meet and share a beautiful moment of connection between North East’s past and present. Even more touching was seeing Rev. Massey hold a photo of himself as a young pastor — a reminder that he was called to lead this church at the remarkable age of just 16 years old. What an extraordinary testimony of God’s hand on his life.

Many members who were here during his tenure were thrilled to greet him, reminisce, and celebrate the legacy he helped build. It felt like a true “coming home” moment.

We can’t wait to celebrate at 10 AM tomorrow, June 14, for Homecoming Sunday 2026! Get ready for a powerful gospel message from guest preacher Rev. Derrick Gill, founder of Derrick L. Gill Ministries.
