VBS on a Sunday morning?! Yes, please. Snowball Mountain, Kona Ice, and a whole lot of kids who had a very good time. And then, when they finished, the whole Kindred family was able to enjoy time together. See you again for worship at 10am, everyone!

“Contempt is a settled belief that there’s nothing left to learn from each other.” Guest preacher and Kindred member Minoka Yonts wrestled with one of the strangest stories in all of Scripture on a recent Sunday (7/26). A new school year looks different depending on where you are. For some of us, it’s backpacks and bus stops. For others, it’s moving to a new city to start grad school. There may be big questions and new friendships. There may be uncertainty and lots of change. Scripture reveals a God who loves each of us without condition. God sees each of us for exactly who we are. God sees our gifts and strengths, as well as our flaws and failures. And still, God is head-over-heels in love with us! Because God loves us, God has expectations for how we should live. But even when we fall short, we never lose the full measure of God’s love.

This summer, we’re doing Vacation Bible School a little differently. Taking place on a Sunday morning, Snowball Mountain Challenge is coming to Kindred on August 16th, and all PreK through elementary kids are invited. Activities, fun, and a free sno-cone truck to finish. Parents are welcome to join us for worship while the kids enjoy VBS. Register your child at the link in bio.
