Dear Adjutant / Armor Bearer,
There may come a day when you disagree with your leader.
It happens. Leaders are human, and so are those who serve them. But disagreement does not give you permission to become dishonorable.
If you have a concern, address it privately, respectfully, and with humility. Don’t vent to other adjutants, create unnecessary conversations, or seek validation from people who have no business in the matter. Guard your leader’s name even when you don’t fully understand their decision.
Remember that you may not always see the full picture. Leaders often carry information, responsibilities, and burdens that those around them are not privy to. Give grace where you lack understanding.
You can disagree without becoming disrespectful. You can ask questions without challenging authority. You can have a different perspective while still maintaining honor.
Maturity is not measured by always agreeing, it’s measured by how you conduct yourself when you don’t.
