BACK TO SCHOOL WITH SUNDAY SCHOOL
August 15, 2026
We want to give all glory, honor, and praise to the Lord for blessing our annual “Back to School with Sunday School” Free Book Bag and Computer Giveaway, held on August 15, 2026!
What a wonderful and blessed day it was! Our mission was to help families prepare for a successful school year while showing the love of Christ to our community. We had an amazing time meeting and fellowshipping with families who came from near and far to attend.
Through the Lord’s blessings, we were able to distribute 100 computers and 430 book bags to children and families. It was truly a blessing to see the smiles on the children’s faces and to have the opportunity to pray for them and ask the Lord to bless, protect, guide, and give them a safe and successful school year.
We give special thanks to Elder Christopher Lewis, Superintendent of the Sunday School Department, and his wife, Sis. Kendra Lewis, for spearheading this wonderful project. We thank the Lord for giving them the vision, strength, and dedication to make this event possible.
We also want to sincerely thank Bishop J. Lewis and the members of Progressive Holiness Church for their prayers, support, and continued commitment to this ministry.
To everyone who donated to our fundraiser drive—thank you! Your generosity helped make this giveaway possible. We are also grateful to everyone who traveled from near and far to volunteer, assist, and support this project. Your willingness to serve was a tremendous blessing.

Last but certainly not least, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Crystal Bodie-Smith of Capital City Hope Foundation and Cari DelMariani and Cyndy Yu-Robinson of Kramden Institute, along with the other Kramden members who worked behind the scenes to supply the computers for this giveaway. Your partnership and generosity made a tremendous difference in the lives of the families we served.
We thank the Lord for every person who prayed, donated, volunteered, gave, served, traveled, encouraged, and helped make this event a success. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, was meaningful.
Most importantly, we pray that the seeds planted through this event will continue to grow. Please continue to keep all of the families in your prayers. Pray that the Lord will bless and protect our children, give them wisdom and understanding, surround them with positive influences, and guide them throughout the upcoming school year.
May the Lord bless every child as they return to school and bless every family represented at this event.
