How has the Resource Center for Women & Ministry in the South touched YOUR life?
In August 2027, the Resource Center for Women & Ministry in the South will celebrate our 50th anniversary!

�Over the last five decades, you’ve helped us weave feminism and spirituality into a vision of justice for the world. We’ve had the pleasure of watching relationships form, creative collaborations blossom, and intergenerational and interfaith conversations bloom. Now, we want to hear from the folks who have made the Resource Center what it is.

Whether you’ve attended a workshop, retreat, exhibit, concert, or class; whether you’ve volunteered, facilitated, taught, or participated in our programming; whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just in the past few months — we want to hear from YOU!

We’re seeking firsthand accounts, memories, and reflections from our community on what the Resource Center has meant to you.

We warmly invite you to share your memories, short-form reflections, photos, artwork, or other creative pieces related to the Resource Center for Women & Ministry in the South. Your contribution may be published in our 50th anniversary book, coming in 2027.

Join us for this year’s HOMEGROWN: NC Women’s Preaching Festival in Durham, NC! This year, HOMEGROWN returns as a one-day gathering, bringing together clergywomen from across North Carolina for a full day of preaching, worship, learning, and fellowship.

Centered on the theme “Cross-Pollination: Shared Wisdom Across Places, Spaces, & Identities,” we’ll gather to share experiences, exchange ideas, and foster meaningful connections across communities, traditions, and lived experiences. Come ready to discover how the gifts we cultivate in one place can take root and flourish in another.

New Meinrad Craighead prints are now available for purchase. Shop now at rcwms.org/shop

Meinrad Craighead (1936–2019) was a visionary artist, writer, and teacher. Her work explores feminine faces of the divine, mystical experiences, and the sacredness of the natural world. Her art reflects her classical training, monastic experiences, and relationship to the land and water in New Mexico.

Meinrad’s works are held in private and public collections around the world, including the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Her papers are archived at the Sallie Bingham Center for Women’s History and Culture in Duke University’s Rubenstein Library.

We are delighted to share that new Meinrad Craighead prints are now available through our shop. We invite you to explore the print collection and consider bringing one of these remarkable works into your home or community space.

There is a kind of stillness available to us that lives below the noise of daily life — in the body, in the breath, in the quiet center of the heart.

The Heart of Mindfulness is a 90-minute live online workshop that explores heart-centered practices. Research shows that heart-centered mindfulness practices can reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and cultivate positive emotions, including love, joy, gratitude, and awe. Through guided meditation and mindful writing, you’ll explore how these practices can become a genuine refuge in your everyday life.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to feel more at home in themselves and the world. Please bring a journal or paper and pens.

Cost: $25, $30, $35, $40, or $45 – sliding scale

We are hard at work producing the Jereann King Johnson documentary project. Will you help us reach our $10,000 goal?

Here at RCWMS, we are passionate about sharing stories that energize and sustain artists, activists, and community leaders. Because of this commitment, we are thrilled to partner with the Black Feminist Film School and Elevate Media to produce a feature-length documentary film that will tell the story of Jereann King Johnson.
