Offense has a way of convincing you that you’re protecting your heart, when it’s really keeping you stuck.

When you trust God with what you can’t control, you’re free to live with open hands, an open heart, and eyes that still see the people around you the way Jesus does. Freedom often begins with one simple decision: to let go of what you’ve been carrying and trust God with the outcome.

Happy Fourth of July!

Today we’re grateful for the freedoms we enjoy as a nation.. including the freedom to gather, worship, and live out our faith.

As we celebrate this Fourth of July, may our hearts be filled with gratitude for the liberties we enjoy and, above all, for the Savior who makes us free indeed.

We weren’t rescued just to keep returning to the things that were breaking us. Jesus doesn’t just forgive our sin.. He invites us into a completely different way of living. Every step away from what once held us captive is a step toward the freedom, purpose, and life He created us for.
