Fear has distorted our understanding of our Father. It causes us to see God as distant, harsh, and intimidating rather than loving, faithful, and trustworthy. When we discover that God has not called us to live in fear, but to walk in relationship with Him as His children, our perspective begins to change. As we embrace the truth that He has not given us a spirit of fear, we can dismantle the lies that fear has built, strengthen our faith, and walk confidently in His promises.
