What we do!
Ignite was started because a need was recognized to give the Holy Spirit what He wanted not what man wanted. We first noticed how most churches ran on man’s schedule instead of God’s, we wanted to change that. What has happened since has been what seems like a whirlwind! Since our priority was and still is prayer prayer and intercession, the Lord has opened our eyes to many more needs in the community. We have since began to do things like open air evangelism, community outreaches, jail ministry, high drug and prostitution ministry, etc. The doors keep opening and we keep walking through them! One area of ministry that we have noticed a great need for is short term transitional housing. Often time there is a gap between someone getting released from jail or wanting to get off the streets to when we can get them to a long term faith based recover center of up to 3-4 days. As of today we have been approved to rent a home to fulfill this purpose and are working towards fulfilling this need in the community with the intentions of having it opened by March 2018. Would you pray for us?
