Pearls of Purpose Ministries

Pearls of Purpose Ministries Pearls of Purpose Ministries is designed to equip, educate, and empower young women ages 18-35 throughout the world to live out their divine purpose!

Pearls of Purpose Ministries was founded by Rev. Sheritta Michelle Williams in March of 2010 to be a catalyst of change in the lives of young women locally, nationally, and abroad. Purpose:
This ministry was birthed out of the depravity of positive self-esteem and self-worth that is seen throughout the world in our young women of all races, ethnicities, cultures, social/economical/educational back

grounds. We are living in an age where there is too much emphasis is being placed on body image and not enough focus on healthy attitudes that center around the Lord’s concept of His daughters as it relates to our total being: mind, body and spirit. Pearls will help to restore the brokenness that has overtaken so many young women and caused us to become distant from God, thus not living out our full purpose here on earth. Foundational Scripture(s):
Isaiah 61:1-3
“1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” (KJV)

Proverbs 31:10
10 ”Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” (KJV)

Vision and Impact:
The overall vision and impact of Pearls of Purpose is to:
-To preach and teach the Word of God with integrity
-To aid in the healing process for broken young women
-To create an atmosphere that will allow the Holy Spirit to always have full autonomy.
-To become a catalyst for change in the community through service projects
-To promote positive self-esteem and self-worth in young women
-To always represent Christ and be used as His vessel

Meeting Times and Days:
We are blessed to hold bible study and fellowship every 1st & 3rd Fridays, 7p at ELIM Christian Fellowship-Buffalo Campus, 70 Chalmers Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14214. All young women are welcome to attend!

The typical "I'm doing OK" or "I'm good" responses when asked the question "how are you?" in most cases does not mean the person is actually "OK" or "good." It takes sensitivity to the Spirit and the willingness to push past your own agenda in the conversation to hear and listen and see what lies beneath the "OK" and "good" facades.

People are hurting and suffering silently. Life is happening with swift transitions, and some are just not able to cope effectively. "OK" and "good" responses are synonymous cries for help and healing, and for someone to have sensitivity to their pain. What lies beneath the shallow responses are layers of brokenness and wounds so deep that only the power of God can heal. Beneath the "OKs" and "goods" are the echoes for someone to see and help pull them through to the other side of strength.

I implore you, the next time you ask the question "how are you?" take the time to look at what lies beneath the "OK" and "good" responses. Be led by the Spirit to push past your own agenda and minister a word of healing and wholeness to the broken hearted and oppressed. This may save a life literally and figuratively. ©2017 Sheritta Michelle Williams. All Rights Reserved.

Prayer and discernment will always reveal the true intent of a person's heart and their reason for wanting to connect. Before you get caught up in their charisma, check their character. The Lord will never leave you ignorant to the enemy's devices. Watch as well as pray. Some connections are not of God. ©2017 Sheritta Michelle Williams. All Rights Reserved.
