There is something powerful that happens when we gather in a space where you don’t have to shrink, hide, or pretend. A space where you are seen, your voice is honored, and your whole self is welcomed.

This Sunday, we’re creating that kind of space at Imani MCC. ❤️

Come experience church unusual—a beautiful community gathering filled with love, joy, compassion, kindness, hope, and the courage to speak life into a world that needs our voices.

🙏🏽 In a world filled with noise, busyness, and unanswered questions, sometimes the greatest thing we can do is become still long enough to hear the voice of God.

Life can leave us carrying burdens we cannot explain, prayers we cannot put into words, and hopes we are afraid to speak aloud. But we were never meant to carry it all alone.

That’s why on Tuesday at 7:00 PM, we gather for Travail Prayer Night—a sacred time of individual and collective prayer where we seek God together. We pray for healing for the sick, comfort for the brokenhearted, wisdom for life’s decisions, mercy and grace for the journey, and renewed faith that transforms our lives. ❤️

People come as they are. Some sit in silence. Some offer prayer requests. Some simply rest in God’s presence. Together, we create an atmosphere of power, change, and possibilities.

Because in praying times, the answer is often within—we just have to become still enough to hear. 🙏🏽✨

Come travail. The Lord is here.

🔥 What if church wasn’t just about showing up… but about slowing down long enough to truly connect?

In a world that constantly tells us to move on to the next thing, sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop. Gather. Listen. Laugh. Embrace. Fellowship. Grow. ❤️

Today at Imani, we did just that.

We gathered around Christ and around one another. We laughed together, listened to one another, embraced one another, and made intentional space to grow together. 🙌🏽

Because community still matters. Connection still matters. Gathering still matters.

And as Pastor Annie reminded us today, we are called to be disrupters of systems that seek to isolate, separate, and keep us disconnected.

At Imani, we believe there is another way.

We walk by faith.
We make room for one another.
We press forward together.
We are better when we move as one. ❤️
