This weekend, we come together in a spirit of gratitude, praise, worship, fellowship, and love as we celebrate the incredible leadership and ministry of Pastor Annie Ross during her 1st Pastoral Anniversary Celebration!

Join us as we honor a leader whose faith, vision, compassion, and dedication continue to impact lives and strengthen our community.

Join us for a powerful worship experience as we celebrate Pastor Annie's first year of pastoral leadership. Come expecting an uplifting word, heartfelt worship, and a time of honoring God's faithfulness.

What began as setting up a sanctuary quickly became something much greater—a day filled with love, laughter, teamwork, and community!

Today, Imani MCC partnered with Durham Social Services to serve our neighbors, and together we were truly the hands and feet of Christ in our community. The people we met were kind, grateful, and appreciative, and it was a blessing to share in this experience with them.

A special thank you to Katrina, Nikia, and the entire DSS team for your partnership and commitment to serving others.

Shout out to our Community Outreach Director, Del Abdullah, for warmly greeting guests, assisting with parking, and helping keep everyone calm, safe, and informed while setup was taking place. We also give a shoutout to our Community Engagement Director Minister Dee Johnson Phillips who tirelessly shared, shared and shared this information all over social media and various platforms. It truly was successful because people came out today!!

And a huge thank you to Pastor Annie! When food supplies began running low and the crowd was still growing, she used her break to make a run to Food Lion and purchase additional food so that everyone who came would be cared for. That is servant leadership in action!

Days like today remind us that ministry happens not only inside the church walls but wherever people come together to love, serve, and care for one another.

Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and community member who made today a success. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and excited about what God is doing through Imani MCC.
