Ten years after the album’s release, Language Barrier returns to the stage with every track reimagined live alongside a rotating lineup of phenomenal collaborators, including Lizz Wright, Mykki Blanco, Phil Cook, Cyanca, H.C. McEntire, Median, Sonny Miles, and Rissi Palmer.

BE sure to start the month out in prayer 🙏🏽 You are welcome to come sit, pray silently if you wish, reflect, get still and just BE!! This is a space for prayer, worship, intercession and renewal.

Let the people travail, let heaven respond, and let breakthrough and transformation take place!There is power when God’s people come together in prayer. 🙌🏾✨

The Prayer Room is our bi-weekly gathering so come as you are, leave renewed and go in peace. In Isaiah 62:1 the scripture says “For Zion’s sake, I will not keep silent.” It’s praying time.

HOW CAN WE SAY THANK YOU FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS GOD HAS DONE? 🙌🏾❤️

Today’s Family & Friends Pack A Pew Day was truly an amazing and special day! What a beautiful celebration of family, friendship, community, fellowship, worship, and LOVE!

We give God thanks for every family member and friend who came out to support our summer fundraiser and share in this incredible day of community celebration. Your presence, your generosity, and your love helped make today so special! 💜💚🤍

🎶 The Voices of Imani did an AMAZING job setting the atmosphere through worship and praise!

We were blessed as our Team Captains came forth to introduce their teams and bring their energy, creativity, and excitement!

🔥 A special thank you to AJ for his dynamic performance representing Team Redeemed!

💜 And thank you to The Woman Know as Prince for blessing us with a powerful performance of “Purple Rain” in representation of our Purple Lilies! ☔️💜

💚 Team Remembrance created a sacred and meaningful moment as members of the congregation honored loved ones and friends who have transitioned by calling their names and sharing precious memories. What a beautiful way to remember, celebrate, and keep their love alive. 🕊️

Congratulations on taking FIRST PLACE! 🏆💚

But we celebrate EVERY TEAM, because at Imani, we are ALL winners in Christ! 🙌🏾 Every team showed up, showed out, and did a phenomenal job! 💜💚🤍❤️

Dr Schquinta Womack broke the house wide open with a powerful word “Put On Love!” This was an on time word that shifted the atmosphere for growth, transformation and healing ❤️‍🩹

🍽️ And then came the food! Dinner and fellowship were absolutely DELICIOUS as we gathered around the table and broke bread together.

A HUGE THANK YOU to our Hospitality Team — Cynthia, Anthony, Sherman, and our amazing volunteers Marian, Tisha, and Delphine! You all were fantastic! ❤️

Today, EVERYONE was fed — naturally AND spiritually! 🙏🏾🍽️✨

As we move forward, we will continue to LOVE GOD’S PEOPLE and LET LOVE ABIDE so that we can effectively fulfill the assignment God has given to each of us and to our collective ministries.

✨ This Week’s Devotional: Step Into the Light ✨

“You are the light of the world.” 🌎💡
Matthew 5:14

God sent His Son into the world not to condemn us, but so that through Him we might have everlasting life. (John 3:16–17)

Sometimes we become comfortable in the darkness. We hide in the shadows where guilt, shame, loneliness, rejection, disappointment, and fear can convince us to play small and stay hidden.

But there is something powerful about stepping into the light of God’s love.

When we step into His presence, we discover liberation, freedom, love, peace, grace, and mercy. We begin to realize that we don’t have to remain bound by the things that once kept us in the shadows. We don’t have to hide anymore.

In the light, we can finally see ourselves through God’s eyes.

And when we walk confidently in the light of His love, our lives become a living witness. We may never know who is watching, but our joy, our peace, our resilience, our forgiveness, and the way we love can become the very light that helps someone else find their way out of the shadows.

You don’t have to stay where darkness found you.
There is freedom in the light.

Today, choose to step out of the shadows and stand in the light of God’s presence. Let His love illuminate the places you’ve been afraid to face. Let His grace remind you that you are worthy, loved, and never alone.

And then… shine. ✨

Prayer:
God, help me to step fully into Your light. Release me from the guilt, shame, fear, rejection, and pain that have kept me in the shadows. Fill me with Your love, peace, grace, and mercy. Let my life shine so brightly that others are drawn out of darkness and into Your marvelous light. Amen. 🙏🏾

This week, don’t hide your light.
Step into it. Walk in it. Live in it. SHINE! ✨
