First Pentecostal Church, an Apostolic Pentecostal church in the heart of Durham, NC, was founded by Bishop Johnny Godair & his wife Mickey Godair in April of 1973. Bishop Godair, who resigned in January of 2020, transferred his Pastoral role to the now-pastor Nathaniel Urshan. We believe that every person has the ability to be redeemed by the transformative power of the gospel & invite you to join us and experience it for yourself!
