Let me share this while I’m on this plane that I shared days ago with partners.
I am a proud American African that loves America and Africa. I am of Ghanaian descent. I bleed Ghana. Almost 80-90% of all black Americans are. My blood began in a tribe known as The Bissa People in Kulungugu. We are all over Northern Ghana and Burkina Faso affectionately called chiefs “Alhaji”. Right now there is a reformer who is kicking the colonizers out and taking control of gold mines. When I tell you he has a Josiah anointing being the youngest President in the world just as Josiah was in his time. He’s tearing whiteness into pieces and other countries are doing the same. He was invited by PresBuTainer (president, business man, and entertainer) Trump to the inauguration. He said NO. They saying he said NO because he is focused on what he’s doing and there’s a pattern of African reformers being assassinated or overthrown while they are away like what happened in Ghana with 1st President Kuame NKrumah. When I heard he said HELL NO I fell numb. Late November I was invited by Trump Adminsitration to Inaugral Celebrations and Dinners. I was asked by a Bishop to go to Mar Largo to ask Trump favors for what I want to do for my community and abroad. I said HELL NO way back then - and to hear Ibrahim’s NO has stirred me so deeply. What would I look like going to anything Trump in this climate when the woman, immigrants and blackness and etc is being attacked by this administration? I ain’t vote for him either! Anyway, as you yall know - I too am a whole entire reformer but NOW yall about to see me call out everything I see like never before. I am stirred. No one will be spared. These next few years of Trump are necessary to stir Africa up in you no matter who you are or hue you have. We were all sleep on some level but now WE UP! This is whiteness, injustice, inequity, bigotry, and racism’s last hoorah. Yall enjoy it while it last. Things always get worse before they get better. I’m excited because Better Than Ever is on the way inspite of what it looks and feels like right now. Yes, The Purge has begun but it won’t end as expected.
