Durham Congregations in Action DCIA has been building bridges across boundaries in the Bull City since 1969.

DCIA seeks to engage and empower people of faith to create communities of justice and peace through common prayers and acts of compassion; and with prophetic courage, to act as advocates for the dignity and well-being of all persons, recognizing that behind every human face is the face of God.

Tomorrow morning at 9:30am, our neighbors will be removed from the Merrick St. encampment. We are asking congregations to help out in various ways (linked) and for volunteers!
