isn’t it crazy that someone can know you, i mean really KNOW you. all of you. and still love you so deeply? it’s almost scary to think about how much God knows, he knows our flaws, our past mistakes, everything. but then he keeps coming back for us. he keeps fighting. he leaves the 99. because you are fully known and STILL deeply loved.
this month is su***de awareness month.
as we go about our lives, i challenge you to act with intention. intentionally show the love Christ has shown you to others who may need it right now.
the class clown, the quiet kid sitting in the corner, the popular people who seems to have it all together, even the bullies. you never know what’s happening behind closed doors, so be thoughtful as to how you are treating others.
Gods greatest commandment to us was to love others as he has loved us. this means everybody, even those who we think are “too hard to love”
I also encourage you to practice intention in your own thoughts. take your thoughts captive and make them obedient to God (2 Cor. 10:5) be more thoughtful in the ways that you are speaking to yourself, and thinking of yourself. know that you are deeply loved by the One who fully and completely knows you. everything you’ve been, everything you are, and everything you’re going to be. He knows it all and he loves you still.
so start acting like you know this to be true. because it is.
