Church, prayer is needed…

Urgent Prayer Requested for Asia Creative Access--NP

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and
the mountains fall into the heart of the sea." Psalm 46:1-2

Your urgent prayers are requested for our Free Methodist family in Creative Access- NP who have been affected by catastrophic flash flooding that has devastated communities and swept away homes, businesses and vital infrastructure. Reports from church leaders indicate that many people remain missing, including church members, family members, and others connected to our ministry communities.

Pray for families waiting anxiously for news of loved ones, especially those whose relatives disappeared in the flooding or while traveling through affected areas. Ask God to comfort those facing uncertainty, grief and loss.
Pray for pastors and church leaders as they locate, care for, and minister to those impacted by the disaster. Many are responding while dealing with losses within their own families and congregations.
Pray for rescue workers searching difficult terrain, for the safe recovery of those still missing, and for God's provision of shelter, food, medical care and protection for all who have been displaced.

Our Free Methodist family is hurting Please join us in prayer, asking the Lord to draw near to these devastated communities, bringing His mercy, peace, and hope in the midst of tragedy.

It is a time to celebrate all the good things God has done and will continue to do!! 120 years is a long time and we want to invite all our neighbors to join us as we enjoy free hotdogs, popcorn, lawn games (mini golf, marshmallow archery and other early 20th century games) the music and worship begins at 3pm with John and Kate. Join us on September 12 from 1-4pm. If you have called this church your home in the past, stop by and say hello and enjoy some free food and games for the kids!!!

When you pastor in a city that is known for trains, sometimes you get to see something real special. Canadian National “Screaming Eagle” and “Air Force One” made a stop at the Durand Depot today.

September 12 everyone is invited to help us celebrate the “Durand Free Methodist “ aka The Crossing Free Methodist 120th year!! We will have free hot dogs and popcorn, games for the kids provided by Covenant Hills Camp staff and special time of worship, reminiscing and music with musical guests John & Kate.
