The Global Methodist Church General Conference has elected episcopal leaders in each of our areas. For us in the Great Lakes Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church, our newly elected bishop is Bishop Jerry Kulah. God is up to great things! Please join us in prayer for each of our newly elected bishops. Our former bishop, Bishop Mark Webb is re-elected and will serve another episcopal area. His leadership has been especially meaningful over the last three years. We pray for Bishop Webb and his continued ministry.

Tomorrow, August 30th, is our 5th Sunday Potluck. All are welcome to join us in the gym after worship. Kindly bring a dish to share.

Word has it that Janice’s famous peanut butter sheet cake will be making an appearance!

Join us for food & fellowship in the gym on Sunday, August 30th after the worship service (around noon). Please bring a dish to pass.

🙏 Join us in praying for Nepal in the aftermath of flash flooding that led to devastating mudslides. We received word from our churches in the area–several churches have been damaged, and members or pastors are missing or tragically died. For Timure Church in Rasuwa, only the pastor survived.

The GMC disaster response team is actively working with churches in this area. Pray for the churches, families, missing people and the affected communities.

To our brothers and sisters in Nepal–we care about you and are praying for you.
