Less than one week until the Durand Blood Drive on Tuesday, June 9, from 12 noon – 6:00 p.m. at Durand United Methodist Church.

Every two seconds someone needs donated blood. The need is greater in the summer when more people are traveling. Please make the time to come donate!

Don't waste your expensive gas driving any further! Walk-ins welcome but appointments preferred, so they know how much personnel and equipment to bring.

Our high school graduate of the week is Zachary Carlson. Zachary, the son of Jason & Tara Carlson, graduated from Pecatonica High School. He will attend Highland Community College, Freeport, Illinois to earn an Associate’s degree in journalism then transfer to the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater to receive a Bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Reserve your spot now for the parish pilgrimage to Holy Hill Basilica & National Shrine and St. Josaphat Basilica in Wisconsin, on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Reservations for the parish pilgrimage can be made by either calling the office or using the Flocknote signup that will be sent.

Once you make your reservation, either pay online with the OSV link on our parish website www.stmarystpatrick.org/2026-parish-pilgrimage, in the parish app or by sending a check to the office. Payment is expected within one week of your reservation to assure your seat on the bus. The cost for the bus and boxed lunch is $65 per person.

Below is the Itinerary for the day:
8 a.m. - Leave St. Mary Church
10 a.m. - Arrive at Holy Hill, stations of the cross, tour basilica, lunch, gift shop, and tower
1 p.m. - View Shroud of Turin replica exhibit
2 p.m - Leave for St Josaphat
3 p.m - Arrive at St Josaphat, tour basilica
4:30 p.m - Mass
5:30/6 p.m - Leave for Durand
7:30/8 p.m - Arrive back at St. Mary Church

Our high school graduate this week is Justin Anderson. Justin, the son of Corey & Kara Anderson, graduated from Durand High School, Durand, Illinois. He will begin his next chapter serving in the United States Air Force.
