📖 Day 7 of our Bible Challenge.

Today we’re reading Mark 7.

One of the major lessons in this chapter is that God is concerned about more than outward appearances. The Pharisees had the right rituals, traditions, and religious practices, but Jesus reminded them that God looks at the heart.

It’s possible to look spiritual on the outside while being far from God on the inside.

As you read Mark 7 today, ask yourself not only, “What am I doing?” but also, “Who am I becoming?”

Pick up your Bible. Read the chapter. Let the Word search your heart.

One chapter a day. One step closer to God.

This Sunday is Communion Sunday at Community Bible Church of Duquesne.

As we gather around the Lord’s Table, let us remember the sacrifice Christ made for us on Calvary and give thanks for the grace, mercy, and salvation we have through Him.

Join us for worship at 10:30 AM. Whether you’re able to be with us in person or online through our church page, we’d love to have you worship with us.

“Do this in remembrance of Me.” — Luke 22:19

📖 Day 6 of our Bible Challenge.

Today we’re reading Mark 6.

This chapter reminds us that Jesus can do a lot with a little. Five loaves and two fish didn’t seem like much, but when it was placed in His hands, it fed thousands.

Sometimes we focus on what we don’t have. God asks us to trust Him with what we do have.

Pick up your Bible today and read Mark 6. I promise there’s something in this chapter for all of us.

One chapter a day. One step closer to God.

📖 Day 5 of our 30 Day Bible Challenge.

Today we’re reading Mark 5.

This chapter reminds us that no situation is beyond the reach of Jesus. A man bound by demons, a woman suffering for twelve years, and a father facing the death of his daughter all found hope when they encountered Christ.

Whatever you’re carrying today, bring it to Jesus.

Pick up your Bible. Read Mark 5. Let God’s Word strengthen your faith.

One chapter a day. One step closer to God.

📖 Bible Challenge Check-In

How’s it going so far? Have you been keeping up with the readings?

We’ve made it through the first few chapters of Mark. What has stood out to you? What has God been showing you through His Word?

No judgment if you’ve fallen behind. Just pick your Bible back up and keep going. The goal isn’t perfection, but it’s about spending time with God and growing in His Word.

Feel free to share a verse, thought, or lesson that’s encouraged you so far.

📖 Day 4 of our 30-Day Bible Challenge.

Today we’re reading Mark 4.

In this chapter Jesus talks about seeds. Some fall on hard ground, some on rocky ground, some among thorns, and some on good soil. The question isn’t whether God is still sowing the seed. The question is: What kind of ground am I giving Him?

Then Jesus closes the chapter by speaking to a storm and reminding His disciples that the same God who sends you is the God who will bring you through.

Pick up your Bible and read Mark 4 today. Don’t just read it, but let it read you.

One chapter a day. One step closer to God.

📖 Day 3 of our Bible Challenge.

Today we’re reading Mark 3.

One thing that stands out in this chapter is that Jesus never stopped doing the work God sent Him to do, even when people talked about Him, criticized Him, or misunderstood Him.

There’s a lesson in that for all of us. Stay focused on your assignment. Keep serving. Keep trusting God. Keep moving forward.

Pick up your Bible and read Mark 3 today.

One chapter a day. One step closer to God.

📖 BIBLE CHALLENGE – DAY 2

Today’s reading: Mark 2

As you read, pay attention to Jesus’ authority to forgive sins, His compassion for those in need, and His call to follow Him without hesitation.

One chapter. One day. One step closer to God.

“Son, your sins are forgiven.” — Mark 2:5
