HELP US SAVE LIVES!
Join us TOMORROW (Saturday, 11/9) at 10 am in Room 115 as we work with Georgia Overdose Prevention to assemble Narcan kits that will be distributed throughout Georgia. Narcan can reverse a narcotic overdose in an emergency, and to date, 11,824 lives have been saved in our state alone by these kits. Let’s work together to make more of these lifesaving kits available across the state of Georgia!

Our 5th Success Academy will be starting soon. Please say a prayer over the next 2 days for every participant, presenter, mock interviewer, bus driver and every other volunteer that is helping this effort to thrive. We are even thanking God in advance for the jobs that these ladies will get after completing this workshop!

Many thanks to Shaniece, a Success Academy alumni, for sharing her testimony. She also mentioned how important our North Atlanta Church of Christ community has been to her life. Her mom was in attendance with her. She was literally in tears to see her daughter giving hope to other women, after what she saw her go through before she came into recovery. We are so grateful for our Love First family and how we embrace Recovery!

We are excited to announce that our next Success Academy will be held November 7th and 8th. This is an excellent resource to help those in our Recovery ministry with job readiness skills to enter the workforce. We are also in need of gently used business casual attire. Shoes of all sizes and jewelry are the main priority right now. Please limit clothing items per donation to only FIVE items per drop off and although we appreciate all donations. We have limitations due to space as well as volunteers to organize the donations. No donations can be accepted outside of what's being requested at this time. Requested donations can be mailed to North Atlanta Church of Christ or dropped off at the church in buckets marked Success Academy, now until November 6th. Please reach out to Jasmine at [email protected] and/or Christa at [email protected] with any questions about donations needs or other ways you can help this mission.
