As colder weather approaches, we are preparing to serve our unsheltered neighbors in Richmond and Kensington. Winter can be especially harsh for those experiencing homelessness, and we have an opportunity to share the love of Christ in a very practical way.

We are collecting winter essentials to help keep them warm, dry, and cared for during the cold months ahead!

❄️ Winter Items Needed:

🧥 New or gently used winter coats

🧤 Gloves, mittens, and hand warmers

🧢 Warm hats, beanies, and scarves

🧦 New, thick winter socks

🥾 Waterproof boots and warm shoes

🛌 Blankets and sleeping bags

🌧️ Rain ponchos and waterproof outerwear

🩲 New thermal underwear and base layers

🧴 Travel-size toiletries, lip balm, and lotion

🎒 Backpacks and durable bags to carry belongings

Will you partner with us in serving our neighbors in Richmond and Kensington? Please consider donating items or sharing this post to help spread the word!

Donations can be dropped off at
The Fix Thrift (during business hours)
OR
The Fix Chapel (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11am-1pm, or service times)
**Please let whoever you drop off with that your items are for winter outreach.
Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus! ❤️

Please see Kate if you have any questions.

Some of our ladies came together this morning for our "@ the Table" monthly gathering. We had food, fun and great fellowship. Our devotion was geared around pumpkins. God cleans us up on the inside so His light will shine thru us.
We also made pumpkins from terracotta pots.
Our next event is on November 14th starting at 10 am. We will have our annual craft day, including lunch. Plan on being there. We always have a great time.
