Our cemetery is one of the most beautiful in all of Harnett County. It used to be a peaceful farm, and was later surveyed for a cemetery. Opened in the early 1950s, it's been used by local families for decades. Take comfort in knowing Harnett Devotional Gardens is one of the few perpetual care properties in Harnett County. Our trust fund allows us to continue maintaining the grounds, even after no more space is available. Our operations are regulated by the North Carolina Cemetery Commission, which supervises 176 cemeteries throughout the state. Harnett Devotional Gardens' owner, Lenual Primus, is on the Board of Directors, and participates in the board's governing how cemeteries operate in North Carolina.

After learning that he will be inducted into the Davie County High School Athletic Baseball Hall of Fame, with a batting average of .532, Mr. Roger Pierce wanted to share the great news with his beloved wife, Sue West Pierce, who was laid to rest at our cemetery in August of 2016. Here he is reading the announcement from the newspaper to his wife at her grave site. For this couple, though separated by the grave, their love still endures. What a touching moment to witness.
