GRANDMA'S CLOSET COLLECTION: We are collecting items to take with us to Chaddock to help stock Grandma's Closet. Grandma's Closet is dedicated to the daily personal needs of their children. Chaddock serves over 400 children daily in their Residential, Foster Care and School programs. Their children access Grandma's Closet with the assistance of staff to ensure their needs are met. As the number of kids continue to grow, it is imperative that they maintain an adequate supply of Grandma's Closet items. There is a collection box in the Gathering Area where you can place your donations on Sunday mornings.

Items we are collecting include:
SHOWER TOTES
LAUNDRY BASKETS
PILLOWS
TOWELS
HAND LOTION

upcoming mission trip in July!

Worship in the Park & Potluck: Sunday, May 31st @ 10:00am

Join Prospect UMC & Northwest UMC this Sunday for a joint worship service at the North Park Pavilion in Dunlap! Come for some music, prayer, and fun! Prospect’s Methodist Men will be providing pulled pork, buns, paper plates, napkins, and plasticware. Please bring a camping chair and a dish to share!

This coming Sunday is Pentecost: known as the "birthday of the church," which falls 50 days after Easter and commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the disciples, with many congregations wearing red to symbolize the fire of the Holy Spirit.

So make sure to wear RED on May 24th. Cake will be served after worship!

But wait...there's more! We will also be celebrating our graduates, honoring the lives of those who have served, and welcoming in new members through baptism, confirmation and transfer of membership!

It it sure to be a beautiful morning!
