Origin stories matter.

Where we come from tells us something true about where — and who — we are now.

Genesis tells us we come from a God who shows up in the chaos. A God who looks at Creation and calls it good. A God who stamps every single person with divine dignity, and asks us to love and care for it all.

And Jesus sends us into the world with one urgent message:
Remind people who they really are. And whose they are.

So here it is, in case you needed to hear it today: You are good. You belong. You are loved beyond what you can imagine. And you are not alone.

Come hear local author and FPCD's own David Bramley speak about his book, "Washington's Guns."

Join us Monday, June 15that 6:30pm for a special evening with David J. Bramley, author of Washington’s Guns. Based on a true narrative of one soldier’s service in the Revolutionary War.

City Historian, Vinnie Luisi, will share the historical facts behind the novel — including the real events surrounding the cannons and the retreat from Ticonderoga.

Beau joined us for worship on Sunday with his mom, Claudia. He listened attentively, greeted fellow worshipers, and refrained from barking during the sermon—qualities of a very good Presbyterian.
