“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28

Life doesn’t always happen the way we planned. There are moments we understand, moments we question, and seasons that simply don’t make sense. But Romans 8 reminds us that God is still at work—even when we cannot see what He is doing.

What feels like a setback may be part of God’s setup. What feels like a delay may be part of His development. And what you’re going through right now may be preparing you for where God is taking you next.

Before you give up, throw in the towel, or count yourself out, remember: God has a purpose, even in this.

We pray today’s message encourages your heart, challenges your faith, and strengthens your walk with the Lord.

In loving memory of Sister Ivory Penick, who was a strong advocate for education and believed deeply in supporting our students, we established the Ivory Penick School Supply Drive, an annual event at The Luke that continues her legacy of giving and investing in education.

Today, we are so grateful and blessed to continue this meaningful tradition by providing gift cards to our students and educators as they prepare for a new school year.

We pray that God covers each of our students, teachers, administrators, and school staff throughout this school year. May our students excel in their studies, our educators be encouraged and strengthened, and may they all experience a successful, safe, productive, and blessed school year!

Through the Ivory Penick School Supply Drive, her passion for education and her spirit of giving continue to live on at The Luke. Her legacy continues to bless generations.
